"I usually travel around the holidays, it usually stinks," says Theresa Peter.
AAA predicts millions more will take to the interstates this Thanksgiving compared to last year.
And with more travelling, it means more last-minute shopping at the supermarket preparing for family.
Travel consultants believe most of those relatives will be staying with family, not in hotels. That will save travelers some cash. Cash that could be spent flying to new places, like Louisville, instead of staying home.
