(WHAS11) - Former Kentucky lawmaker Steve Nunn has fired his attorney ahead of his trial.
Nunn is accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend Amanda Ross in September outside her home in Lexington.
His former attorney had recently pushed for a psychological evaluation of Nunn.
There are reports that Warren Scoville has taken over the case.
