(WHAS11) - The clean-up is underway at Seymour Community schools after one of the schools had to cancel class Friday due to an illness outbreak.

75 out of 300 students at the 6th grade center in Seymour are sick.

Jackson County health officials ruled out food poisoning and H1N1 virus and believe the students have a gastro-intestinal illness.

Friday custodians spent the day wiping down surfaces.

They are cleaning all of the Seymour Community Schools this weekend, which will be back in session on Monday.
