NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WHAS11)-- Police are looking for a thief who stole prescription pills from a Walgreens Monday night.

Police in New Albany say a fake beard may be the key to finding the person responsible.

In the video you can see the suspect in an aisle pocketing some over the counter medications, but what you can't see is what he does when he heads back to the pharmacy.

"He indicated he had a weapon" said Detective Carrie East.

The suspect allegedly demanded oxycodene at the Walgreens pharmacy at Charlestown Road and Klerner Lane Monday night.

If you have any information call the New Albany Police Department's anonymous tip line at 812-948-5317.
