Borden shooting suspect turns himself in to police

 (WHAS11) - The suspect in a shooting at the Hoosier Hill sports bar near Borden, Indiana is behind bars.

Clark County Police say 26-year-old Joseph Banet of Borden turned himself into the police around 5:00 p.m. Saturday night.

He's charged with attempted murder and is being held without bond.

Police say Banet got into an argument with another man over an ex-girlfriend and shot the man in the chest in the bar's parking lot.

The victim, 36-year-old Andrew Burnett is listed in fair condition at University Hospital.

Banet is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
