LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- One of Louisville’s most notorious murder suspects court appearance could be delayed. His street name is “Hot Boy” and he was expected to be on trial again the week of Feb. 22.

The courts are having a difficult time finding enough people to seat a jury.

“Hot Boy’s” real name is John Jones and when he was arrested last year he said he was innocent in court.

In 2011 he is charged with shooting a woman in the Jamestown Apartments in St. Matthews, but that is just the most recent incident in a string of violent charges against Jones.

In 2005, Jones was charged with killing Christopher Harrison at 39th and Main Streets.  Jones ended up pleading guilty to reckless homicide.  In 2007, Jones was linked to another murder.  This one involved James Bland who was gunned down at a gas station on Broadway. Jones was acquitted of that murder.

He is now facing charges from the St. Matthews assault and is facing a minimum of 10 years in prison.
