Louisville's UAW has rejected Ford's new contract with 84% of Local 682 voting against the changes, saying they have already taken enough cuts this year..

"Sometimes when they come to you and they say we want more we want more we want more sooner or later you have to say no," said Ford worker Steve Marrero.

Ford is continuing to try to reduce domestic labor costs.

Earlier this year, workers agreed to a cut in their benefits, paid holidays and bonuses.

This newest contract would have frozen wages for entry level workers and prevented them from striking over wages or benefits.

"I voted no because I don't think you can give up your strike rights for anything," said Ford worker Scott Caesar.

Jeff Clark said, "they'll just keeping wanting more and more. There's no end to it."

Ford worker Patricia Morgan, "if we give up the right to strike that's the whole package. What do you need a union for?"

Despite the rejection, the contract could pass if unions nationwide pass it.

Approximately 19500 members have voted against it, 7000 are for it.

Ford has not said what will happen should the contract be rejected or what impact it will have on the Louisville plants.
