(WHAS11) - Police say an Indiana state police trooper misplaced his nine millimeter handgun at a Lowe's store in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
State police say the off-duty trooper realized his handgun was missing while still inside the store, and quickly notified managers. A store employee had already found it, though, and turned it over to Ft. Wayne police.
The trooper will remain on-duty while a review is underway.
