(WHAS11) - Rand Paul is getting another big endorsement in his race for Kentucky's U.S. Senate.
Former republican presidential candidate Steve Forbes is throwing his support behind the Bowling Green eye doctor.
Forbes is president and chief executive of Forbes Media as well as editor in chief of its flagship magazine, Forbes.
He ran for the GOP presidential nomination in 1996 and 2000. He campaigned with a platform that included a flat tax, medical savings accounts, a new social security system, parental choice of schools, term limits and a strong national defense.
Paul is running for the republican nomination to replace retiring two-term Sen. Jim Bunning. He is running against republicans Trey Grayson and Bill Johnson.
