The future home of the Louisville Cardinals is finally starting to look a basketball arena.

Jim Host is the chairman of Louisville Arena authority and he says that workers are more than a week ahead of schedule.

Which he thinks is amazing due to that they were 6 weeks behind at one point. “Just to see it all come together after 5 years is truly emotional to me,” said Host.

By the end of the week the workers plan to finish placing half of the concrete and start putting up steel to frame the skeleton of the roof.

The multi-million dollar project is expected to be done by November 1 st of 2010.
