(WHAS11) - The man facing charges in the death of four-year-old Ivan Cano is due back in court today.
Cecil New is charged with murder and kidnapping.
In a pretrial hearing last month, a search-dog handler said he saw New coming out of the basement of Cano's apartment complex a few days after the boy was reported missing.
Today, a second dog handler is set to testify and then a judge will decide whether to allow their testimony in the trial.
