LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A Louisville man has now been charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend's four-year-old son. Police say Johnny Juliot was charged with one count of murder Sunday. Juliot is accused of beating a toddler, James "Tony" Hack to death. The boy died from his injuries Friday, two days after police say Juliot beat him.
Police say Juliot's charges were upgraded to murder after the autopsy Sunday showed he died as a result of the beating. Juliot has a history of assault arrests in Indiana dating back to 1998 including intimidation and battery charges from October that are still pending.
The boy's funeral is set for Wednesday.
