(WHAS11)-A local organization is getting a big boost for their efforts in Haiti from a group of middle schoolers.
Local students from Westport Middle saw the destruction in Haiti and decided to help Edge Outreach.
The student council had a dress down day for whoever raised the most money.
They raised over $400 for the organization which has been in Haiti for weeks purifying water.
