Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11)- U of L is earning top marks when it comes to going green. The university was placed near the top in a rating system that tracks how well colleges and universities do when it comes to reducing their environmental impact. U of L has qualified for a silver designation in the sustainability tracking, assessment and rating system, known as stars. The program encourages schools to adopt practices that are environmentally and economically responsible. U of L says this is all part of their goals to go green.
