LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – If you purchased a live Christmas tree this year you may be already looking to get rid of it. Luckily, there are a few options to recycle them. Starting Monday you can drop them off at the recycling centers on Hubbards Lane, the Outer Loop or Meriwether Avenue and Metro Louisville will turn them into mulch for the parks and Brightside.
You can also drop trees off a Bernheim Arboretum. Drop off is anytime in front of the main gate on Highway 245.
