(WHAS11)  Our Storm Team Meteorologists have traveled all across Kentuckiana to show you how people are going green and helping the environment.

This time around, they’re simply traveling the world-wide-web.

Our Project Green commitment is to give you great local stories about our Kentuckiana people, businesses, and institutions and how they are helping the environment, by simply going green.

We not only want to tell you these stories on television, but also on the web.  So Maureen Hagrman, executive producer of WHAS11.com, shares with you more about Project Green and the internet.

“We have a whole section for Project Green on our website.  If you go to the homepage, then click on the Green tab, you’ll be taken to the Project Green page.  There we have all the segments we’ve ever done for Project Green; all the local news and national news, and in addition to that we have a story called Project Green Links.

On the green links story, we have all different kinds of links to help you go green in your everyday life.  We have one on local businesses going green, ways you can save money both in the summer and winter, ways you can get involved in recycling and other ways you can go green in your everyday life.”

And at the bottom of the green links story and all stories, there is a place for you to leave your own green links, which we can add.

And it’s all about interaction; there is the place where you can also send us your comments, suggestions, and project green story ideas.

You’ll find a link to the Project Green section of our website right on the WHAS11.com homepage.
