LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Monday was America Recycles Day. November 15 is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to recycling. On Monday an Ohio based electronics recycler opened up a space in Louisville for residents and businesses to drop off old electronics for free. Items like old cell phones, computers, DVD players, stereos and fax machines were collected.
The recycling event doubled as a way to collect food for the Dare to Care Food Bank.
