(WHAS11) -- A man wanted by the U.S. Marshals after challenging police to "catch me if you can" has been arrested in the Louisville area.
The U.S. Marshals Service Western District of Kentucky Fugitive Task Force Thursday located Joshua W. Reynolds in Glendale, Kentucky. Reynolds was wanted by authorities for probation violations and for recent burglaries in the Louisville area. Police say they were in contact with Reynolds recently and challenged detectives to find him.
"Deputy U.S. Marshals and task force officers arrested over 120,000 fugitive felons in 2011 - 37,000 based on federal warrants and over 83,000 based on state or local warrants. Approximately half of these individuals were violent offenders," the agency said in a news release Thursday evening.
