"Rainy Day Burgers"
Chef Richard Doering at the Bristol Bar and Grille in Jeffersonville, Indiana recommends broiling your burgers to get a good sear on the meat while keeping the inside juicy.
Broiling instructions for rainy-day burgers:
-Move your oven rack to the center of the oven.
-Turn the broiler in your oven on high heat.
-Place your burgers in a casserole dish or cookie sheet. No matter what you use, make sure there is enough of a rim to catch the grease.
-Cook the burgers about 4-5 minutes on each side. Be sure to watch the burgers closely, as the high heat will cook them quickly.
