Bourbon Barbecue Sauce

 

INGREDIENTS

2 cups Heinz Ketchup

4 shots Old Forester

¼ cup apple cider vinegar

¼ cup bourbon soy sauce

½ cup local honey

½ cup sorghum

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon red pepper flakes

3 shallots, finely diced

Salt and pepper to taste

 

METHOD

Combine all ingredients with whisk in stainless steel bowl. Let develop for a few hours before use.
