SWEET POTATOES RECIPE

 

3 MEDIUM SWEET POTATOES peeled & cut in 1 inch cubes

1 Granny Smith Apple peeled & cored cut in 1 inch cubes

4 cups mini marsh-mellows

1 stick butter

1/2 cup (4oz) Kilimanjaro Jerk Sauce

Salt & Pepper to taste

 

Cooking Instructions

 

Blanche Sweet Potatoes for 10 minutes in boiling water & drain

Melt Butter & Kilimanjaro Jerk sauce in sauce pan

Place Sweet Potatoes & Apples in 9/13 baking dish

Pour Butter & Jerk sauce mix over potatoes & apples

Top with marsh-mellows

Bake in oven at 350 for 30 minutes or marsh-mellows brown

 

GINGER CRANBERRY SAUCE

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1 BOTTLE GINGER SYRUP

1 PACKAGE FRESH CRANBERRIES (3 2/3 CUPS)

2 TBSP SUGAR

1 TBSP FRESH ORANGE ZEST (USE 1 TSP IF USING DRIED ZEST)

 

INSTRUCTIOONS

 

1. COMBINE GINGER SYRUP AND SUGAR IN A SAUCE PAN AND BRING TO A BOIL, STIRRING UBNTIL SUGAR DISSOLVES

2. ADD CRANBERRIES AND BOIL 5 MINUTES, STIRRING ONCE OR TWICE

3. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND STIR IN THE ORANGE ZEST

4. COOL AND SERVE. IF NOT USING IMMEDIATELY, REFRIGERATE.

 

NOTE  ** EXCELLENT WITH TURKEY, DRESSING AND OTHER HOLIDAY MEALS

 

Smashing Pumpkin Shots

2 parts Hot Stuff cinnamon whiskey

1 part Kilimanjaro Pumpkin Spice Syrup

 

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake vigorously, and strain into shot glasses. Pow!
