LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS) -- Building 48 at the Jeffersonville Census Bureau was looking a lot like Santa's workshop Thursday night. Bureau employees kicked off an early holiday shopping spree with their annual auction for the 'WHAS Crusade for Children.'
For the 25th straight year employees at the census bureau put together baskets, trees and all kinds of must-have items for their annual auction.
It gave bidders a chance to get an early jump on the season of giving with a night of caring.
With the total from this year's auction the 'crusaders' from the census bureau expect to bring their grand total to well over $190,000 and counting.
