PHOENIX, Ariz. (WHAS) -- A gigantic dust storm took over part of Southwestern Arizona Tuesday.
Storms moving through the Phoenix area packed strong winds and kicked up a lot of dirt causing a huge dust wall.
The dust storms, also called "haboobs", knocked out power poles and caused the cancellation of several flights.
The dust storm measured 50 miles wide.
