Patrick Swayze died on Sept. 14 at the age of 57, but his 20-month battle with pancreatic cancer showed just what a fighter he was. The star of "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" managed to film the television series "The Beast" and write his memoirs while battling cancer. While he told ABC News' Barbara Walters he vowed to fight his disease, he added, "One thing I'm not gonna do is chase staying alive. You spend so much time chasing staying alive, you won't live."
