If a picture is worth a thousand words, the picture of a battered Rihanna that was released in 2009 said far more than many could imagine from a seemingly perfect Hollywood love story. Chris Brown attacked Rihanna Feb. 8 in Los Angeles -- the same night the two were scheduled to perform at the 2009 Grammy awards. Photos of Rihanna's battered face, first revealed by celebrity gossip Web Site TMZ, sent shockwaves over the Internet. Brown was charged with two felony counts of assault and making criminal threats. He was sentenced to five years probation and 180 hours of community service. Rihanna gave her her first prime-time interview after the incident to ABC News' "20/20" with Diane Sawyer.
