The411 with Sherlene Shanklin:  Rock band Pearl Jam made their big announcement this afternoon.  The group will go on tour but Louisville is not on the list.   The group will begin the two-part trek in Pittsburgh, Penn. on October 11 and will play arenas across the continent before wrapping up in their hometown of Seattle on December 6th.  When I looked at their tour list, a lot of Midwest cities are not on there so maybe the group will add them at a later date.    Tickets for all of the concerts will go on sale to the public on July 27 at 10 a.m.  The PearlJam.com on sale for members of the group's fan club begins today.

In an earlier report, I also mentioned the chance for Pearl Jam to release a new album.  A member of the group spoke to Billboard that the album is almost done.  They are working to finalize everything on their 10th studio album.  It could be released in the next few weeks.
If you go to their website, pearljam.com you will see another countdown.  It's set for July 11th.  This could be the timeline in which they plan to release their album.
