The411 with Sherlene Shanklin: The Seven Counties Services' Prevention Division will hold a forum Thursday, July 12th to address youth violence. The forum's goal is to focus on strategies to reclaim youth and promote violence prevention. Jeff Johnson, award-winning journalist. social activist and Chief White House Correspondent for TheGrio.com will join in on the discussion. Mayor Greg Fischer and Councilwoman Cheri Bryant-Hamilton will also participate in the forum.
It will be held at the Metro United Way located at 334 E. Broadway. The program is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. and will end at noon.
