Oscar-winning actor Lou Gossett Jr. awarded Ali Humanitarian Award

Actor Lou Gossett Jr. has had roles in the 1977 film “Roots,” as well as “An Officer and A Gentleman,” for which he won an Academy Award. Today, his most important work is as a humanitarian, with his "Eracism Foundation." Because of his work in education, Lou will be one of the recipients of the Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Awards.
