LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The city of Louisville has been named one of Forbes magazines' top cities with an emerging downtown.
Historic Whiskey Row is a big reason why. Forbes highlights the public-private initiative underway to save the facades of the historic buildings, while restoring the interiors.
The number of people living downtown has grown about 10 percent in the past decade and the city has attracted nearly two-billion-dollars in reinvestment.
