"AMERICAN IDOL" PRODUCERS SAY EVERYTHING IS FINE

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- "American Idol" is doing damage control after word of a feud between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey came out last week. "Idol" producers have issued a statement saying they are "one of the best, most passionate, dynamic and invested judging panels we've ever had." They say there has been much media speculation and accusations and much of it is inaccurate. They say, "Production is going extremely well" and the judges are focused on finding the best talent.
