NEW YORK (AP) -- will.i.am is for what he call stem skills. Not to be confused with stem cells, a much more controversial issue. The Black Eyed Peas member says kids should be taught the basics in science, math, technology and engineering. And even though he makes his living doing music, he says he uses those skills all the time. He has two programs aimed to help students in urban areas develop what he calls these "stem" skill sets.
