According to Karen Kearns, DVM, San Diego Zoo associate veterinarian, the panda's teeth are ready to erupt any day as four teeth on the lower jaw feel ready to emerge. The cub is also increasing strength in her front limbs as she begins to lift her upper body more. Kearns expects the cub will likely be using her rear legs to begin lifting her lower body in just a few weeks.
