NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Bruce Springsteen has made a triumphant return to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. He last played the event in New Orleans in 2006 -- and he closed out the first weekend of the festival with a two and a half hour show, which included classics like "Born To Run" and the title tune of his new CD, "Wrecking Ball." A sign of how popular Springsteen is -- even among a crowd more used to the style of music that gives the jazz festival its name: fans rushed the stage when the gates opened at 11 a.m. yesterday to get good seats.
