Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Celebrate the Kentucky Derby in high style with the Night of Silk party!

On Tuesday, Mark Moseley - President and CEO of the Galt House hotel - announced the first ever Night of Silk party.

It will take place at the hotel on Saturday May 7.

Moseley says there will be food, drinks, music, dancing, and the opportunity to rub elbows with legendary jockeys, past and present.

The hotel has also agreed to donate $5,000 to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund for every ticket that's sold.

“It goes to a great benefit to support us and everything, but also, it's a party. Its right after the Kentucky Derby, you know. It's a great hotel to be at and everything, it's gonna be a lot of fun,” said disabled jockey Gary Burser.

Tickets are $375 per person.

Along with the donation from the hotel, the money raised through the live and silent auctions will go to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund.
