TV star Mark Cuban to speak at IU’s Bloomington campus during competition

(WHAS11) -- Indiana University is getting a visit from its most famous alumni.

Dallas Mavericks owner and "Shark Tank" star Mark Cuban, will be on the Bloomington campus next week for a public talk.

Cuban graduated from IU in 1981.

He'll be speaking in conjunction with IU's building entrepreneurs in a software and technology competition.

The event will be next friday at Indiana Memorial Union's Whittenberger Auditorium. It is free and open to the public. Cuban is a billionaire who owns an NBA team, and has several business ventures.
