PHOENIX, Ariz. (WHAS11) -- Action star Steven Seagal is teaching an armed volunteer posse in Arizona how to protect a school from shooters.
Phoenix area Sheriff Joe Arpaio created the 'School Posse Patrol Program' after the discovery of a student's plan to shoot fellow students last month.
Seagal is leading the all day training this weekend.
40 volunteers go through different scenarios where someone is on the school campus with the intent to kill.
Seagal is a martial arts expert and a sworn Sheriff's deputy in Texas.
