(WHAS11) – Montgomery County, Maryland police released dashcam video on Friday of officers pulling over the Batmobile for displaying a superhero's emblem instead of state tags required by law.

Officers pulled the Caped Crusader over in the Batmobile on Friday, March 23 for not having his license plate displayed properly.

Police released a video of the encounter complete with radio traffic of officers poking fun at the situation.

The Washington Post reports that the Batman impersonator is really Lenny Robinson.

He told officers he was on his way to the hospital to visit sick kids, which he had been doing for over a decade in the Washington DC and Baltimore area.
