SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- Paul McCartney's world tour is being knocked out of whack because of his illness.
The singer has now had to cancel his show scheduled for South Korea last week. He's been laid up by a bug that forced him to scrub the entire Japan leg of his world tour.
In a statement released by a company organizing the tour, McCartney is quoted as saying he had been "really looking forward to visiting and playing in South Korea."
The shows would have been his first there. Representatives are declining to say exactly what is ailing McCartney, who turns 72 next month. He's to return to the U.S. to resume his tour next month.
