(WHAS11) -- Reality star Kim Kardashian is throwing her hat into the political ring.
Kardashian says she's going to run for mayor of Glendale, California.
In an unaired clip from E's "Khloe and Lamar", Kardashian told her sister she plans to buy a home in Glendale and run for office in about five years.
She has apparently called on a friend to help her legitimize her campaign.
Kardashian chose Glendale because it's an "Armenian town" which is a nod to the Kardashian family's heritage.
