(ABC News) - As one of the most memorable American films turns 25, its star, Kevin Costner, returned to the original field of dreams in Iowa, sharing some advice for dads everywhere on this father's day weekend.
Among those at this weekend's celebration of the 25th anniversary of the "Field of Dreams", its star Kevin Costner.
"To me, it represented a magical story about, you know, listening to a voice that maybe you don't want to listen to," he said.
"Field of Dreams" is the story of one man's crazy idea to build a baseball diamond in his corn field, inspired by that mysterious voice. His character builds it even though he doesn't understand why.
Soon, the ghosts of baseball players past come. This weekend thousands of people came to see the field and feel the magic.
"Field of Dreams" is more than a baseball movie.
It's about a father and son reconciling. The movie does feel with that biblical thing of men and their sons maybe not getting along. You don't want to go through life and wish you had played catch.
