(WHAS 11)--Donald trump is five million dollars richer.
A judge sided with the Donald awarding him damages after finding a Miss USA contestant defamed the pageant.
Trump sued former Miss Pennsylvania Sheena Monnim, after she called the pageant "rigged and trashy."
Trump gave her time to take back her statements but she refused.
In a statement, Trump says he had no choice but to sue.
He called the ruling "an expensive lesson for her."
