BEIJING  --  Chinese authorities arrested the son of action star Jackie Chan on drug-related charges.

He is the latest high-profile figure to be busted in a huge anti-drug crackdown in the country.

32-year-old Jaycee Chan  was arrested late last week along with another movie star.

Police said both of them tested positive for marijuana and admitted to using the drug.

Officials also took 100 grams of pot from Chan's home.

China's president recently declared that illegal drugs should be wiped out and offenders should be severely punished.

In Beijing alone, about 7,800 people have been arrested.
