NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -- Rapper Tone Loc was rushed to the emergency room after fainting on stage during a show in New Braunfels, Texas Saturday night.
Video footage provided by a KENS 5 viewer shows the 47-year-old surrounded by women on stage at the River Road Ice House, 1791 Hueco Springs Loop Road.
Loc then goes weak in the knees, as if stunned by the dancing women, and collapses to the roar of the crowd. The women keep dancing around him until his DJ steps in about 10 seconds later.
The show ended early.
A manager from the bar said Loc was treated for heat exhaustion and released from the hospital in time to make his flight out of Texas on Sunday.
According to news reports, this isn't Loc's first time collapsing on stage.
The "Funky Cold Medina" and "Wild Thing" singer also collapsed on stage in March of this year during show in Iowa; in 2011 during a show in Atlanta; and in 2009 during a concert in Pensacola, Fla.
In 1995, he collapsed while attending a Los Angeles Lakers game.
