STEVIE WONDER: NO CONTEST PLEA IN EXTORTION CASE

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- That case in which two people were charged with trying to extort Stevie Wonder has ended. The two people charged in the case have pleaded no contest. After that, Alpha Lorenzo Walker and Tamara Diaz were set free after being sentenced to time served in jail. The two ended up behind bars for 292 days -- and they will serve three years of probation. The two pleaded no contest to charges of trying to sell a video that was purported to have portrayed Wonder in a negative light. The two were arrested in May after the Wonder's lawyer set up a sting -- and claimed one defendant asked up to $5 million for the video
