"NEWMAN" TO PLAY SANTA ON BROADWAY

NEW YORK (AP) -- Jerry Seinfeld growling "Santa!" just doesn't have the same ring to it. The guy who played Seinfeld's arch-nemesis, Newman, is heading back to Broadway to play Santa. Wayne Knight will co-star in a musical version of "Elf," based on the Will Ferrell movie. The show opens in early November and will run through the holidays.
