NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- When country duo Brooks and Dunn split up in 2010, Kix Brooks made a career change. He took up acting and so far he's got two films under his belt including a starring role in the western, "To Kill A Memory." Brooks says time away from thinking about radio success and record sales was liberating for him as an artist and his new solo album, released yesterday, reflects that newfound sense of freedom.
