NEW YORK (AP) -- Melissa Etheridge is claiming songwriter's privilege about the content of her new album, "4th Street Feeling." Etheridge says songwriters get to put personal experiences in songs and she certainly does. Is that the ultimate revenge? Etheridge says she doesn't know but she's not saying anything more because that's her "prerogative as a songwriter." Etheridge turned 51 in May and says the album is an exploration of being around the sun that many times.
