LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Michael Clarke Duncan is dead at 54. A statement from his fiancee says Duncan, who suffered a heart attack in July, died yesterday morning at a Los Angeles hospital after nearly two months of treatment. Duncan earned an Oscar nomination for his break-out role in the 1999 film "The Green Mile." Duncan told the AP even at 315 pounds, he had to bulk-up for The Green Mile role. He appeared in dozens of films, including hits likes "Armageddon," "Planet of the Apes" and "Kung Fu Panda." Green Mile co-star Tom Hanks says he's "terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike."
