GMA GOES ON WITHOUT ROBIN ROBERTS STARTING TODAY

NEW YORK (AP) -- "Good Morning America" goes on without Robin Roberts starting today. This was supposed to be her last day before going on medical leave, but she left a day early to give her time to visit her ailing mother before having surgery for a blood and bone marrow disease. Roberts' sister is donating bone marrow. Roberts will go into the hospital next week to prepare for the operation. Roberts told viewers she'll be back as soon as she can. In the meantime, stars ranging from Oprah Winfrey to Chris Rock and the cast of "Modern Family" will fill in for her.
