ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- Mark David Chapman has been denied parole for the seventh time. A parole board refused to release Chapman because they say that would "undermine respect for the law" since he committed a "heinous, unprovoked, violent, cold and calculated crime." Chapman can try again for parole in two years. He's serving 20 years to life for killing John Lennon in 1980.
